Community Idea Submission Terms

Last Updated: March 12, 2025

By submitting an idea, pitch, feedback, or other content ("Submission") to IdeaHub.co.zw ("IdeaHub," "we," "us"), you agree to the following terms. Please read them carefully before clicking "Submit."

1. Non-Confidentiality

You agree that your Submission is not confidential. IdeaHub has no obligation to keep your Submission secret. Do not submit any information that you consider to be a trade secret or proprietary information that you wish to keep private.

2. License Grant

By making a Submission, you grant IdeaHub, its creators, affiliates, successors, and assigns a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free, fully paid-up, transferable, and sub-licensable license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, perform, and display your Submission (in whole or in part) in any media now known or hereafter developed.

What this means:

  • We can turn your idea into a YouTube episode/simulation.
  • We can build a real-world business, app, or service based on the idea.
  • We can allow other developers in our community to build it.
  • We do not owe you any payment or royalties for doing so.

3. No Compensation or Obligation

You acknowledge that you are submitting this idea voluntarily. You are not entitled to any compensation, credit, or acknowledgement. While we strive to credit users whose ideas we simulate, we are under no obligation to do so. IdeaHub is also under no obligation to review, keep, or use your Submission.

4. Similar Ideas (Parallel Development)

You understand that IdeaHub and its community are constantly working on various tech concepts. It is possible that we are already working on an idea similar or identical to yours, or that we may receive a similar idea from another source. By submitting, you waive any claim that IdeaHub has misappropriated your idea or that we owe you anything if we produce content or products similar to your Submission.

5. Your Warranties

  • You are the original creator of the Submission.
  • The Submission does not infringe on the intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or publicity rights of any third party.
  • You have the full legal right to grant the license described in Section 2.

6. Release

You hereby release IdeaHub and its creators from any and all claims, demands, and damages of every kind and nature, known and unknown, arising out of or in any way connected with the use of your Submission.
